LYCIA. Xanthos. Circa 400-380 BC. Tetrobol or Third Stater (Silver, 15 mm, 2.00 g, 6 h). Head of Athena to left, wearing crested Attic helmet. Rev. 𐊕𐊀 ('ar' in Lycian) Laureate and bearded male head (Kronos?) to right; all within circular incuse. MĂŒseler VII, 40 (same dies). SNG Copenhagen Suppl. 496. TraitĂš II 398. Very rare. Perfectly centered on a very broad flan, with a lovely reverse strike. Slightly porous and the obverse struck from a somewhat worn die, otherwise, very fine.
